Whistler Music Festival is a two day event held at Whistler Blackcomb Tube Park at
Base II on the side of Blackcomb Mountain. The first
year festival will bring together a widely eclectic music line-up in a breath-taking
location.
This year’s event will start on
Saturday, July 19th from 11:00 am to
8:00pm and continue on
Sunday, July 20th from 11:00 am to 8:00
pm.

Parking
There is parking in the Whistler Blackcomb day lots located on Blackcomb Way and
parking is free. For more information on parking and transportation,
click here As always Festival Network highly encourages patrons to consider carpooling whenever
possible.
Vending
There will be a variety of delicious, diverse and reasonably priced foods available
to the general public.
Alcohol
There will be beer, wine and spirits available to the general public, for sale and
consumption in designated areas in the venue. Alcohol does not go on sale until 12:00
pm each day.
Merchants
In addition to food and beverage, there will be artisans and vendors selling
high-quality merchandise, crafts and official Whistler Music Festival merchandise. If
you wish to become a vendor at the Whistler Music Festival, please email

Lodging
Whistler is a popular travel destination in the summer months and particularly during
the festival weekend. Visit

Camping
There is one camping site in Whistler, Riverside Campground, (under Riverside RV on whistler.com).

Rules & Regulations
No glass containers of any kind, alcohol, professional photography equipment,
weapons, fireworks, illegal substances, pets, bicycles, skateboards, large coolers,
lawn chairs (excluding low seated concert chairs), umbrellas or any other item that
may impair another patron’s ability to see the stages.
Seating
All general admission tickets are lawn seating. We highly encourage you to bring
blankets or low-back concert chairs.
Re-Entry
All patrons will be permitted to leave and re-enter the festival grounds once they
trade in their ticket for a Whistler Music Festival wristband.
Persons with Disabilities
There will be a reserved disability section available on-site. Some chairs are
provided in this section, though a chair is not guaranteed. Due to the limited amount
of space, each person with a disability may bring one companion into this area.
Families of two adults and children less than 18 years of age, are permitted to stay
together in the reserved section.
Get Involved
We are always looking for friendly, helpful, reliable volunteers to help at the Whistler Music Festival. Volunteering is a great way to experience a music festival. Another advantage is that you get in to the festival for free!
Volunteer Requirements
You must be 18 years of age.
You will be requested to work two shifts, each four (4) hours. Shift times and
hours will vary from person to person. As a volunteer, you must be flexible.
Volunteers must be on-time and accessible at the time of their shift.
Volunteer positions are fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis.

Jobs
There are a number of different jobs available to you as volunteer for the festival.
They include everything from information booths, street teams, vendor setup, staff
catering, dressing room maintenance, etc. Generally speaking, volunteers are
available to help where and when needed. Festival Network will also be conscious of
keeping our environmental impact on the mountain to a minimum. If you have an
