JVC co-sponsored the North Sea Jazz Festival from 1986-1999, and again from 2003 until the present. 2006 will mark the momentous move from the Hague - home of the festival since 1975 - to Rotterdam and the `Ahoy theater complex. JVC "owns" the Nile stage, the largest stage at the Festival. The JVC North Sea Jazz Festival is world renowned for the many musical genres which it offers each year, ranging from traditional New Orleans jazz, swing, bop, free jazz, house, fusion, avant garde and electronic jazz to blues, gospel, funk, soul, groove, hip hop, R&B, world beat and Latin.
