Parking
Parking is very limited in the Fort Mason area. Alternative transportation is highly recommended. Please see the Destination page for more information.
Vending
There will be a variety of delicious, diverse and reasonably priced foods available to the general public. If you wish to become a vendor at Slow Food Rocks, please email sfrinfo@festivalnetwork.com
Alcohol
There will be beer and wine available to the general public, for sale and consumption in designated areas in the venue. Alcohol does not go on sale until 12:00 pm each day.
Rules & Regulations
No glass containers of any kind, alcohol, professional photography equipment, weapons, fireworks, illegal substances, pets, bicycles (bike racks provided outside the venue), skateboards, large coolers, lawn chairs (excluding low seated concert chairs), umbrellas or any other item that may impair another patron’s ability to see the stages.
No unauthorized vending or video recording.
No pets are permitted inside the festival gates with the exception of licensed ADA assistants.
Please note that Fort Mason is on National Park land and Federal laws regarding illegal substance apply. There could be legal ramifications for violation of federal laws so we advise using proper judgment and discretion.
Seating
All general admission tickets are lawn seating. We highly encourage you to bring blankets or low-back concert chairs. A reserve section with chairs is available with reserved seat tickets.
Re-Entry
All patrons will be permitted to leave and re-enter the festival grounds. Festival goers will be given a wristband if they wish to leave.
Persons with Disabilities
There will be a reserved disability section available on-site. Some chairs are provided in this section, though a chair is not guaranteed. Due to the limited amount of space, each person with a disability may bring one companion into this area. Families of two adults and children less than 18 years of age, are permitted to stay together in the reserved section. Vehicle entrance for persons with disabilities is on Bay and Franklin.

If you are a reliable person and eager to promote the festival to your friends and community please get in touch with us at Slow Food Rocks slowfoodrocksinfo@festivalnetwork.com. Four hours of work handing out flyers and placing posters around your community earns you one day’s entry into the festival.
